Project Delivery Manager

As a key member of our team at Taylor Hopkinson | Powered by Brunel, you will play a critical role in the successful delivery of BESS projects. Your expertise in project management, combined with your knowledge of the renewable energy sector, will enable you to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects forward from initial design to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
  • Oversee all project phases, from initial design and permitting to construction, commissioning, and handover, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Coordinate with engineers to resolve technical challenges and optimise project execution, while maintaining quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure smooth project execution, and conduct regular site inspections, audits, and reviews to maintain compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a Master's degree or additional certifications in project management or renewable energy being a plus.
  • 5-8 years of experience in project management, with a focus on construction and engineering in the renewable energy sector, and demonstrated experience in managing BESS projects with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design tools, and fluency in English.
