Building Services Manager

Bark Recruiting+ is seeking a skilled and experienced Building Services Manager to oversee all electrical engineering trades on construction sites. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impressive projects within the hospitality sector and beyond.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, instruct, and monitor executing companies specializing in technical building equipment (TGA) across large-scale construction projects.
  • Conduct thorough quality controls to ensure compliance with construction regulations and standards.
  • Utilize specialized construction monitoring software for documentation and quality assurance purposes.
  • Regularly verify measurements against contract agreements.
  • Participate in internal planning processes and contribute to the development of technical and financial proposals for new projects.
  • Collaborate closely with technical trades, building trades, and on-site companies to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in controlling, invoice verification, and maintaining deadlines, cost, and quality control.
  • Conduct technical due diligence inspections of buildings to assess their structural integrity and functionality.

Qualifications:

  • A completed degree in HVAC engineering or a comparable engineering discipline, or an equivalent TGA master or technician certification for heating, ventilation, sanitation, air conditioning.
  • Proven professional experience in construction supervision within the HVAC sector.
  • Proficiency in RIB iTWO, MS Office Suite, and MS Project.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC/MEP system technology.
  • Fluency in German and a good command of English.
  • Strong interdisciplinary understanding of building planning principles.
