Our Mission

We are looking for a talented Data Protection Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Omnichannel Data Protection team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our data protection practices. Your expertise will help us maintain the trust of our customers and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordination: You will be the primary point of contact for data protection-related queries and will coordinate with our Data Protection Office to ensure the effective implementation of our data protection management system.
  • Consulting: You will provide expert advice on data protection matters to our business units, particularly in the online and shop environments.
  • Incident Management: You will be responsible for managing and coordinating incident responses in collaboration with our business units.
  • Data Protection: You will ensure the ongoing compliance of our data protection practices within the Omnichannel organization.
  • Process Management: You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining processes to ensure optimal data protection quality across all Omnichannel areas.
  • Compliance Management: You will be responsible for adapting existing or introducing new compliance requirements end-to-end.
  • Process Optimization: You will organize and manage the implementation of processes in our data protection management system in close collaboration with our Data Protection Coordinators (DSKs).

Requirements

  • Education: You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Law and Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: You have several years of experience in data protection, IT systems, and complex data protection processes, as well as their representation in business processes.
  • Skills: You have a strong affinity for digitalization and process innovation in online and offline environments. You are familiar with cookies, online systems, and current online platforms. You have experience with data protection assessments, their implementation, and maintenance, as well as communication with decision-makers.
  • Language Skills: You have excellent German and English language skills.
