We are currently seeking a
Systems Engineer for Mission Control Systems (m/f/d)
Be a part of the future of space exploration. We are looking for a Systems Engineer who will lead the integration of OHB tools into the EGS-CC infrastructure and significantly contribute to the advancement of innovative ground segment systems for satellite missions. Your expertise will help shape the Multi Mission Control Centre for contemporary and future space exploration endeavors.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop a Mission Control System based on ESA's EGS-CC / EGOS-CC standards Integrate OHB mission control and flight dynamics tools into the EGS-CC framework Incorporate the developed MCS into the OHB DC Multi Mission Control Centre Engage in the development of Ground Segment systems for both current and upcoming satellite missions Plan and coordinate development activities related to MCS Assist in defining necessary tasks and technical objectives Create and maintain design and interface documentation Facilitate the transition from spacecraft assembly, integration, and testing (AIT) to mission operations to optimize synergy across all mission phases Serve as the primary interface to clients and product ownersRequired Qualifications
Degree in aerospace engineering, computer science, or a related field Experience with mission control systems in satellite operations or AIT activities Proven experience in the design, implementation, or integration of mission control systems Excellent communication skills and a quick learner Ability to work independently and effectively, demonstrating a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork Proficiency in German is essential Strong command of EnglishWhat We Offer
