Expert in Development Test Benches

Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Expert in Development Test Benches to join our team at STAR COOPERATION GmbH.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, construct, and operate development engines on test benches, ensuring mechanical, electrical, and metrological accuracy.
  • Install, commission, and operate measuring and testing equipment, including high-voltage components, exhaust gas measurement technology, and conditioning systems.
  • Network communication components, such as control units, INCA, residual bus simulation, and test stand automation, to ensure seamless integration.
  • Document test field activities, including measurement point plans, logbooks, events, and results, in our IT systems.
  • Plan and conduct experiments and test series on AMG engine test stands, analyzing results and optimizing processes.
  • Collaborate with test field engineering to resolve faults and improve test stand efficiency.
  • Contribute to cross-shift collaboration on process optimization, safety, tidiness, and cleanliness, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Your Ideal Profile:
  • Completed training as an automotive mechatronics technician, mechanic, or similar.
  • Several years of experience as an Expert in Development Test Benches, focusing on Motor or ATS test bench.
  • Extensive experience in handling test bench automation and measurement systems.
  • Good knowledge of high-performance car engines in construction, testing, and repair.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
  • Strong teamwork skills, essential for shift work collaboration.
