Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated student pursuing a degree in natural sciences or engineering for a thesis focused on the integration of innovative camera technologies within the automotive sector.
Field of Work:
This role is situated within the Assembly Technologies division, which is integral to the Center for Automotive Assembly Planning. Our team collaborates across various departments to implement cutting-edge technologies that enhance the final assembly process of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews on the integration of AI-based camera systems and their operational interfaces.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the functionalities and interfaces of AI-driven camera technology used in inspection processes.
- Identify requirements for series integration and propose optimizations for existing processes.
- Develop training frameworks and systems for AI model training.
- Evaluate the economic viability of specific use cases for camera inspection technologies.
The specific thesis topic will be finalized in collaboration with your academic institution and our team.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a degree program related to natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field.
- Proficient in both written and spoken German and English.
- Strong IT skills, particularly in MS Office; familiarity with CAD is advantageous.
- Demonstrated affinity for technology, particularly in camera systems, along with a structured and analytical approach to work.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
