We are seeking a dedicated individual pursuing a degree in natural sciences or engineering to undertake a research thesis focused on the integration of AI-based camera technologies.
Key ResponsibilitiesYour role will encompass a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing our production processes:
- Literature Review: Conduct comprehensive research on the integration of AI-driven camera systems, their interfaces, and the training of AI models specific to camera technology.
- Technical Familiarization: Gain in-depth knowledge of the functionality and interfaces of AI-based camera systems used for inspection in final assembly.
- Requirements Planning: Define requirements for series integration and contribute actively with suggestions for process optimization.
- Training Development: Create training concepts and systems for the effective training of AI models.
- Economic Analysis: Evaluate individual use cases for camera inspection technology from an economic perspective.
The specific topic of your thesis will be collaboratively determined with your academic institution and our team.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following:
- Educational Background: Enrollment in a degree program related to natural sciences, engineering, or a comparable field.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and spoken skills in both German and English.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with CAD is advantageous, along with a willingness to learn new IT systems.
- Personal Attributes: A passion for technology, particularly in camera systems, along with a structured, goal-oriented approach, analytical thinking, and excellent teamwork and communication skills.
