We are a leading logistics provider in the chemical industry, with a team of over 800 professionals managing logistics operations for Evonik and external customers across 13 locations in Germany.
Our services encompass the entire value chain, from raw material receipt to product shipment. We offer customized logistics solutions tailored to our clients' needs.
What We Offer
- As a Logistics Team Lead, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance and repair activities for multiple complex storage facilities, including silo systems, bulk storage facilities, and automated high-bay storage systems.
- You will oversee personnel management and scheduling, ensuring seamless operations and efficient use of resources.
- You will be accountable for the operational management of multiple departments, including monitoring and controlling various processes and procedures.
- You will maintain regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, including other departments and external service providers.
Requirements
- You hold a successful completion of a vocational training as a warehouse clerk, including a further education to a master's level.
- You have several years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in logistics or supply chain management.
- You possess excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
- You have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience with MS Office and SAP software.
- You are a strong communicator, team player, and independent worker, with a proven track record of achieving results in a fast-paced environment.
- You hold a forklift operator's license.
