Job Description

As a Senior Engineer at Stepstone GmbH, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency of our security workflows by automating tasks using Python. You will leverage the MITRE ATT&CK framework to map and analyze threats, creating a staged visualization of potential attacks. Your responsibilities will include analyzing security data from diverse sources, identifying and assessing threats, and developing automation scripts and playbooks to streamline incident detection, response, and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze security data from logs, EDR solutions, and network traffic to identify and assess threats.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts and playbooks using Python to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to create a staged visualization of potential attacks using the MITRE ATT&CK framework.
  • 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role with hands-on experience with SIEM tools.
