About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and results-driven Project Lead to spearhead procurement transformation projects within our Procurement Excellence division. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying, initiating, and overseeing global digital initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, processes, efficiency, governance, and compliance in our procurement operations. Your expertise in coordinating cross-functional teams and driving change will be vital for achieving desired improvement outcomes and successfully executing transformational projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Identification and Initiation: Recognize areas for enhancement within the procurement sector and launch digital initiatives to address these. Define project scopes, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics in alignment with procurement excellence objectives. Global Project Leadership & Team Management: Manage multiple complex digital initiatives with a global footprint. Lead cross-functional project teams, both within and outside the procurement sector. Ensure project timelines, milestones, and schedules are met to achieve improvement goals. Stakeholder Engagement and Alignment: Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all management levels. Drive alignment among cross-functional teams to secure stakeholder acceptance and influence necessary changes in business processes. Reporting and Communication: Deliver regular updates on project progress, risks, and mitigation strategies. Prepare and present project updates to senior management, seeking their support for decision-making. Engage senior management as necessary to ensure project success within established timeframes. Change Management and Results Orientation: Implement change management methodologies to ensure smooth project execution and adoption. Continuously assess project outcomes to guarantee that targeted improvements are realized. Foster a results-driven culture within the project team, emphasizing accountability and tangible results.Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related discipline. 5-8 years of relevant experience in procurement or related fields. Proven track record in leading global digital initiatives within procurement or supply chain functions. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently. Excellent coordination and collaboration skills across various functions. Demonstrated capacity to drive change and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. Proficient communication and presentation skills, particularly with senior management. Results-focused mindset aimed at achieving specific improvement outcomes. Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Strong digital acumen, with experience in digital project management being advantageous. Effective stakeholder management skills and ability to mediate conflicts. Strong presentation abilities.Preferred Qualifications
MBA or Master's degree. Experience across various procurement functions within and outside HARMAN. Background in managing digital projects and cross-functional teams.Additional Information
