Engineering PreMaster Role

As a participant in the PreMaster Program at Bosch, you will play a vital role in supporting our engineering teams in the oversight of inertial sensors during their ramp-up and production phases. Your contributions will be essential in driving continuous enhancements through rigorous testing and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development engineers to monitor and improve inertial sensor performance.
- Assist in the creation and enhancement of demonstrators utilizing Bosch Sensortec sensors, specifically through the Arduino Nicla Sense ME platform, for showcasing at various events.
- Take ownership of specific work packages, ensuring independent progress and completion.
- Work closely with various departments within Bosch Sensortec GmbH and Robert Bosch GmbH, including assembly technology, ASIC design, and sensor technology development.
Qualifications:
- Personal Attributes: Strong commitment to working in a dynamic setting, with a keen interest in consumer electronics and sensors. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Work Approach: A structured, analytical, and goal-oriented team player with cross-cultural awareness. Effective communication and presentation skills are crucial for engaging with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with MEMS sensors, data analysis tools (such as Matlab and Python), and programming languages (including C and Python). Experience with version control systems like GIT and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket is advantageous.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with German language skills considered a plus.
- Educational Background: A strong bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, microsystems technology, physics, materials science, computer science, or related disciplines.
Program Details:
The Bosch PreMaster Program is designed for dedicated graduates holding a Bachelor's degree who aspire to pursue a Master's degree. The program consists of two phases: the first phase offers up to 12 months of practical experience to familiarize participants with technical and business contexts, while the second phase encompasses the Master's coursework along with additional seminars and personal mentoring.
