Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Premaster Engineer to join our team at Bosch Sensortec GmbH. As a Premaster Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our development engineers in the supervision of inertial sensors in ramp-up or series production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support development engineers in the supervision of inertial sensors in ramp-up or series production.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of test programs for inertial sensors through data evaluation and failure analysis.
  • Assist in the creation and enhancement of demonstrators using Bosch Sensortec sensors (with Arduino Nicla Sense ME).
  • Take ownership of work packages in the areas mentioned above and drive them independently.
  • Collaborate closely with permanent employees from various departments, including assembly and connection technology, ASIC design, sensor element design, and technology development.

Requirements

  • Strong technical comprehension and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of MEMS sensors, data analysis (Matlab, Python), and programming (GIT and services such as GitHub and/or Bitbucket).
  • Proficiency in C, Python, and 3D modeling for 3D printing is a plus.
  • Full professional proficiency in English; German is a plus.
  • Excellent bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, microsystems technology, physics, materials science, computer science, or related fields.

What We Offer

The Bosch PreMaster Program is a two-stage qualification program for committed graduates with Bachelor's degrees who want to complete a Master's degree. The program provides up to 12 months of practical experience for familiarization with technical and business interrelationships, followed by a Master's course with additional events and seminars, as well as personal mentoring.
