Account Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Account Engineer to join our team in Frankfurt. As an Account Engineer, you will be responsible for fostering long-term customer relationships and developing sustainable risk improvement plans that meet both client and FM Global's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess potential losses, communicating risks to clients and the account team.
  • Accurately assess and evaluate account-wide risk information and exposures, helping clients understand hazards and risks to their business.
  • Develop and execute effective mitigation strategies to achieve mutually agreeable risk improvement in line with FM Global's corporate objectives.
  • Provide professional advice and consultation to clients on risk management matters, making them aware of the benefits derived from various products and services offered by FM Global.
  • Establish risk improvement priorities and support efforts to obtain client compliance with loss prevention recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Experience in industrial loss prevention, property risk management, and/or fire protection engineering.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, sales, time management, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with focus on key objectives and effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in German and English, both written and oral. Additional languages are a plus.
