Strategic Projects Team Lead

Join Hasso-Plattner-Institut für Digital Engineering gGmbH as a Strategic Projects Team Lead and play a crucial role in shaping the institute's long-term strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies that align with our overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact, long-term projects across the institute, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with institutional objectives.
  • Design and implement long-term, data-driven strategies that align with HPI's overall goals in close collaboration with the management board, the Hasso Plattner Foundation, and further stakeholders.
  • Oversee the hiring and development of a team of strategic project managers and analysts to execute HPI's strategic vision.
  • Work across departments and functions to ensure that strategic projects are integrated seamlessly and that there is alignment between different teams.
  • Regularly report progress on key initiatives to the Management Board, ensuring strategic goals are met and tracked effectively.
Requirements:
  • Several years of experience in strategy development, strategic project management, or management consulting.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and derive actionable insights to guide strategic decision-making.
  • Fluent in both German and English, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large-scale, high-impact projects across multiple teams and departments.
