About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Transaction Assurance team as an Associate (f/m/d). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the financial workstream in large and complex M&A projects globally and contributing to our company's growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Due Diligence and Valuation Services
- Perform financial due diligence and valuation services to analyze the past and future performance of target businesses and identify strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of business plans and profitability calculations.
- Advise on relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustment mechanisms and closing balance sheet provisions.
- Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
- Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all impacts and risks to target financials are assessed.
- Assist the Management team in building and maintaining trusted working relationships with other parts of the company globally.
- Digital Tools and Innovation
- Use digital tools for day-to-day work to promote digitalization within the Transaction Assurance department.
- Professional Development
- Take on challenging engagements within the Assurance team to fill gaps in experience, increase knowledge of the company, and build an executive network.
Requirements
- Education and Experience
- Hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
- Have several years of professional experience as an M&A / Financial Due Diligence advisor or relevant experience in Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills in English and German (or additional languages).
- Strong decision-making ability and ability to interact with external advisors and internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of the company's business and portfolio.
- Pro-active and self-driven personality with the ability to work independently and result-oriented.
