About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Associate to join our Transaction Assurance team within Siemens Healthineers AG. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial workstream in large and complex M&A projects globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform financial due diligence and valuation services, analyzing the past and future performance of target businesses and identifying strengths, weaknesses, risks, and opportunities.
  • Assist in the preparation and analysis of business plans and profitability calculations.
  • Advise on relevant contract clauses related to purchase price adjustment mechanisms and closing balance sheet provisions.
  • Closely collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure all impacts and risks to target financials are assessed.
  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with other parts of Siemens Healthineers globally.
  • Utilize digital tools for day-to-day work and take on other challenging engagements within the Assurance team to increase knowledge and experience.
Requirements
  • Above-average academic history and career progression.
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • Several years of professional experience as an M&A/Financial Due Diligence advisor or relevant experience in Controlling, Private Equity, or Investment Banking.
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and relevant certifications (CPA, ACCA, ACA, CFA).
  • Experience working in an international business setting and a passion for working in diverse teams with strong intercultural sensitivity.
