Activity Leader with a Creative Streak for German Language Immersion

Job Title: Activity Leader with a Creative Streak for German Language Immersion Camp Freiburg

At Alpadia Language Schools SA, we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Activity Leader to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As an Activity Leader, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive activities for our international students, focusing on language immersion and experiential learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement creative arts programs for our students, including workshops and excursions
  • Work closely with other Activity Leaders and Teachers to ensure a meaningful and enjoyable experience for our students
  • Assist with day-to-day operations, including attendance checks and evening programs
  • Develop and maintain a safe and supportive environment for our students
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children or young people in a professional capacity
  • Demonstrated skills in the field of Art Education or teaching art/creative workshops
  • Some German proficiency (spoken B1-B2 minimum) and ability to learn activity-specific vocabulary
  • Fluency in English
  • High physical, mental, and emotional resilience, with ability to work 6 days a week, 12 hours a day
  • Experience in meaningful, professional teamwork
  • High energy level, excitement, and comfort speaking in front of large groups

  • A competitive weekly summer salary between 515-540 EUR (depending on experience)
