Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled PV Performance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality energy simulation results for utility-scale PV plants and hybrid plants. Your expertise will be essential in providing sensitivity analysis of PV energy simulations for financial evaluations and reviewing site characteristics, meteorological data, and project documentation for detailed energy simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality PV plant energy simulation results for utility-scale PV plants and hybrid plants.
  • Provide sensitivity analysis of PV energy simulations for financial evaluations of project opportunities.
  • Review site characteristics, meteorological data, project documentation, and public records for detailed energy simulations.
  • Present technical findings and opinions to internal and external stakeholders in meetings and written communication.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete proposals for designing and building photovoltaic projects.
Requirements
  • Enrolled in a university within the field of Engineering, Physics, or Renewable Energy-related studies, with at least 12 months of study remaining.
  • Relevant work experience in PV, data analysis, and/or using PVsyst software is an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel skills, with knowledge of PVsyst and/or AutoCAD a plus.
  • Business fluent in English, with Spanish and/or Portuguese skills a plus.
  • Will to travel with an available driver's license is a plus.
