Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive product cost analyses, focusing on cost reduction initiatives and drafting budgets for development programs that support the successful launch and commercialization of the Alkaline Water Electrolysis Product within gH2.
- Evaluate and analyze the cost structures of both existing and new products.
- Identify, track, and document ongoing cost reduction measures related to products.
- Establish clear and transparent productivity reporting mechanisms.
- Provide cost-related guidance and collaborate with product development teams on cost reduction strategies.
- Assist product managers in setting cost targets for both current and new products to maintain long-term competitiveness.
- Develop and implement necessary procedures and processes to foster a sustainable cost-conscious culture.
- Regularly monitor, evaluate, and present budgets for product development initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of professional experience in product cost optimization, value analysis, or cost reduction initiatives.
- Experience in plant operations with connections to manufacturing or procurement is advantageous.
- A robust toolkit for cost reduction across the entire value chain, with familiarity in cost monitoring processes.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead projects effectively and resolve issues.
- Strong intercultural awareness and the ability to leverage cultural differences in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to work closely within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and German.
- Openness to occasional international travel for business purposes.
