Position Title: System Administrator (m/w/d)
Position Overview:
- Set up and enhance VMware environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Oversee virtual machines, track resource utilization, and conduct routine backups.
- Manage Microsoft servers and associated services.
- Deploy and oversee automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Install hardware and software while maintaining thorough documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve issues as part of the second-level support team.
- Innovate and develop strategies for platform improvement.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in IT networks and system administration.
- Proficient knowledge of VMware technologies and virtualized infrastructures.
- Willingness to learn new technologies, particularly in the realm of virtualization.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
- Networking administration experience is a plus.
- A collaborative team player with proficient English language skills.
