Role Overview:

As a Financial Crime Compliance Specialist, you will be pivotal in safeguarding our organization against financial crime, particularly in the realm of money laundering. Your expertise will guide our compliance efforts and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary resource for staff regarding money laundering concerns.
  • Assist in the execution of regulatory mandates pertaining to money laundering.
  • Oversee internal processes and systems related to anti-money laundering (AML).
  • Contribute to risk assessments associated with money laundering activities.
  • Conduct monitoring procedures and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Prepare for AML audits and coordinate with auditors.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as Sparkassenfachwirt, Bankfachwirt, or a comparable qualification.
  • In-depth understanding of money laundering regulations with a commitment to ongoing education through workshops and self-directed learning.
  • Prior experience in similar positions is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and responsible approach.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and dedication to the role.
