Within the Chief Technology Office's Digital Innovations team, we unite our product and portfolio managers, clients, and sales experts with a singular aim: to enhance and revolutionize our digital offerings and services, empowering our clients to navigate the challenges ahead. Assist utility providers and grid managers in modernizing their infrastructures for electric vehicles and renewable energy in the most effective and timely manner. Develop manufacturing methodologies that optimize the utilization of renewable energy. Transform buildings and communities into smarter, more sustainable environments. We are in search of a proficient Digital Solutions Architect (m/f/d) with extensive knowledge in digital solutions that regulate energy usage for commercial and industrial clients. Your responsibilities will encompass not only the overarching architecture of our energy management suite but also the execution of necessary modifications and enhancements to existing solutions. You will collaborate closely with product management teams, synchronize portfolio alignment and development, and manage portfolio requirements effectively. Your typical week will involve. Crafting system architectures that unify various energy management solutions, including microgrids, demand response systems, flexibility management, and energy monitoring tools. Assessing and selecting suitable technologies, frameworks, and protocols for energy management systems. Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including software developers, engineers, and data analysts, to ensure the effective implementation of energy management solutions. Steering the strategic roadmap and tactical execution for an integrated product portfolio. Guaranteeing timely completion of tasks across all business units and workstreams. Taking charge of managing both internal and external collaborators. Monitoring industry trends and advancements in energy management technologies to remain informed about market developments. Coordinating portfolio alignment and development, and managing portfolio requirements. Serving as the primary contact for Energy Management within Smart Infrastructure. What you should bring to the table. A Master's degree in electrical engineering, power electronics, software architecture, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Extensive professional experience in system architecture within the realm of digital energy management solutions (e.g., microgrid technologies, EV charging infrastructure, demand-response management, renewable energy integration, energy-efficient buildings). A proactive approach, demonstrating initiative and a willingness to implement your ideas. Exceptional problem-solving abilities, identifying challenges and proactively seeking solutions to ensure project success. Strong communication skills, effectively engaging with various stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and information sharing. Enthusiasm for working in a multidisciplinary team, closely interacting with clients, and sharing your expertise with non-technical individuals. Comfort in international and remote settings is essential. Proficiency in English is essential; additional languages, particularly German, are advantageous.
