Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Go Backend Developer to join our Demand Solutions team. As a key member of our Core & Integrations team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the core logic of our advertising platform, including campaign distribution, campaign management API, and integrations with external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of our backend written in Go and maintain our microservice architecture used to communicate with our frontend.
- Work in a community of developers to share knowledge and contribute to peer code reviews.
- Support partners by providing them with raw or aggregated data based on their business needs.
- Collaborate with our Data Science team to solve complex math problems used to optimize our ML algorithms.
- Be responsible for collecting and aggregating billions of daily API events in our Kafka and Kinesis streams.
- 8+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of experience building web applications in Go.
- Experience working with key-value databases (Redis, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Scylla) and optimizing their use for high-volume traffic.
- Ability to profile a Go application and identify bottlenecks.
- Experience working on a large Go application with a considerable amount of traffic (>100e6 requests per day).
- Open to relocating to Hamburg, Germany.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform), Docker, and serverless infrastructure is a plus.
