Responsibilities

Assist in formulating a holistic data strategy that serves as a cornerstone for the enhancement of analytics and artificial intelligence applications, as well as innovation in business models.

Develop and uphold a robust data governance framework in collaboration with the master data management team, ensuring adherence to our FAIR principles (findable, accurate, integrated, reusable).

Create and execute an efficient operational model for data management, outlining the organizational structure and defining roles (data owner, data steward) across divisional, regional, and central levels.

Facilitate effective communication and cooperation among business units, the data management team, and other stakeholders in the organization, including data scientists, data analysts, enterprise architects, and master data managers.

Encourage the growth of data competencies and skills within departments through specialized training and development initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, information technology, computer science, or a related field.

A minimum of four years of experience in data management, with a focus on data governance and organizational structure.

Profound understanding of the development and implementation of data policies and standards.

Exceptional communication skills in both German and English, along with strong stakeholder management abilities.

Proven experience in fostering a data-driven culture and enhancing data competencies within an organization.
