Data Strategy Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the revitalization of a solution for group consolidation, emphasizing the establishment of a cohesive data layer that facilitates a seamless transition from consolidated data to individual ERP data.
  • Continuously optimize data models independently, particularly within the frameworks of S/4 Group Reporting, SAP BW/4, S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Snowflake.
  • Envision, design, and implement data architectures and models that are tailored for the integration of diverse and heterogeneous data sources. Expand our service offerings by incorporating business intelligence and reporting solutions to effectively address emerging non-financial reporting requirements, such as the EU Taxonomy.
  • Independently deliver and lead projects primarily within an SAP BW/4 environment.
  • Coordinate changes in collaboration with BI colleagues and business stakeholders.
  • Consistently introduce innovations to enhance analytics-related solutions and service offerings.
  • Contribute significant value to data analytics initiatives and projects, including migrations, predictive analytics, and new undertakings.
  • Manage and coordinate external partners while communicating effectively with various business stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of projects and modifications to existing solutions.

  • Possess a university degree in IT or a related field focused on Business Insights.
  • Have several years of experience in analytics and reporting, particularly with SAP BW, SAP BW/4, SAC, SAP ABAP, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
  • Experience in an international corporate environment and familiarity with SAP Group reporting are advantageous.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge in data warehousing, ETL processes, and reporting tools (SAP AO, SAC).
  • Possess knowledge of HANA Studio (SQL/Java Script/CDS views), experience with cloud platforms, and familiarity with other BI tools.
  • Have practical experience collaborating with business stakeholders, particularly in the areas of Accounting, Controlling, and Closing processes.
  • Exhibit the ability to learn and adapt to new environments, contexts, and applications.
  • Be a business value and customer-focused professional, goal-oriented with innovative thinking, attention to detail, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Possess project management experience, particularly in agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a willingness to work in a multicultural team.
  • Show strong analytical and engineering skills, with expertise in leading BI projects and a solid background in digitalization technologies, particularly in modeling, analytics, prediction, simulation, and AI/ML.
  • Fluency in business English is required.
