Currently, approximately 14,000 employees are engaged with existing SAP ERP systems. ZEISS is committed to standardizing and regularizing various ERP systems from multiple companies throughout the Group as we transition from SAP R/3 to SAP S/4HANA.

This project is both thrilling and intricate. You will:

  • Manage (regional/segment-specific) business requirements toward the global SAP S/4HANA template through local fit-gap analyses under the guidance of deputy/hub process owners.
  • Oversee data cleansing initiatives.
  • Design and own test cases, conducting comprehensive functional end-to-end tests within the SAP S/4HANA system.
  • Support the definition and execution of functional test cases.
  • Actively contribute to the roll-in of assigned projects within a region, primarily within a segment, and potentially across SBUs/segments as directed by the regional hub lead.

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • A profound understanding of at least one end-to-end business process (e.g., Lead-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Engineer-to-Order, Service-to-Customer, Plan-to-Produce, Inbound-to-Outbound, Record-to-Report, and specialized areas like Quality Management or Master Data Management).
  • Experience with SAP R/3 (and ideally SAP S/4HANA) along with relevant third-party business systems.
  • Exceptional conceptual, results-oriented, and communication skills.
  • The ability to build networks and a willingness to collaborate within an intercultural and interdisciplinary global team.
  • Business fluency in English.
