Software Support Specialist (w/m/d) - Advanced Technical Assistance

As a Software Support Specialist focusing on advanced technical assistance, you will serve as the primary liaison for our clientele, ensuring that incoming inquiries are addressed efficiently. Your strong customer service skills, technical knowledge, and proficiency with our web-based applications will play a crucial role in effectively resolving the concerns and technical challenges faced by our global customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the sole point of contact for all customer inquiries from the German-speaking region
  • Receive, prioritize, process, document, and close all service requests using Jira
  • Provide guidance and support to customers regarding the utilization and configuration of our software solutions
  • Conduct initial assessments of reported issues and software defects
  • Coordinate and plan patch deliveries
  • Develop and maintain entries in our knowledge management database
Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Prior experience in technical support, customer service, or a similar customer-facing role
  • Strong technical acumen and the ability to navigate intricate application environments
  • Passion for applying and elucidating complex software while addressing customer inquiries collaboratively
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English
  • Familiarity with web hosting and experience in SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Java are beneficial
