About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Global Sustainability Brand Communication Manager to join our dynamic communications department at Siemens AG. As a key member of our Sustainability Brand Communication team, you will play a vital role in shaping and bringing to life our sustainability story to support the success of our sustainability business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the global brand communication strategy for sustainability, aligning with our overall brand narrative.
  • Design and implement sustainability messaging for various target groups, ensuring consistency with our broader communications strategy.
  • Create impactful sustainability content and campaigns, leveraging data insights and suitable for use across different platforms and regions.
  • Coordinate the global sustainability story for major sustainability events, collaborating with subject matter experts and stakeholders across Sustainability, Government Relations, and other key functions.
  • Oversee the production and distribution of sustainability content across key touchpoints, ensuring alignment with our global brand guidelines.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal partners, such as the global sustainability team, other communications teams, and regional businesses, to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Define critical success metrics for sustainability communication efforts and regularly evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Act as a brand guardian for sustainability, ensuring all communication initiatives are consistent with our global brand positioning.
Your Profile
  • 5-8 years of experience in brand communications, preferably in a B2B environment with a focus on sustainability communication.
  • Strategic and tactical expertise in contributing to both the strategic and executional aspects of brand communication, with experience in sustainability messaging a plus.
  • A genuine passion for sustainability, paired with up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends, developments, and innovations in sustainability and sustainability communications.
  • Experience in developing creative ways of talking about sustainability impact, including in different formats (audio, video, text).
  • Collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and navigate complex, matrix organizations.
  • Results-oriented, with a track record of successfully executing communication strategies.
  • Digital savvy, with a solid understanding of digital communications, including content marketing and social media.
  • International experience, with the ability to adapt communication style to different cultural contexts.
  • Business-fluent English language skills, with German proficiency a strong advantage, and additional languages a plus.
  • University degree in politics, sustainability, marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
