Senior Consultant Financial Instrument Accounting & Valuation

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant Financial Instrument Accounting & Valuation to join our team at KPMG. As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on financial instrument accounting and valuation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on financial instrument accounting and valuation matters, including IFRS and HGB compliance.

  • Develop and implement financial instrument accounting and valuation strategies for clients, including the analysis of complex financial transactions and the development of financial models.

  • Collaborate with clients to identify and address financial instrument accounting and valuation risks, and develop recommendations to mitigate these risks.

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial instrument accounting and valuation regulations and standards, and provide guidance to clients on these changes.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial instrument accounting and valuation, preferably in a consulting or industry setting.

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and HGB, and experience with financial modeling and analysis.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Fluency in German and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
