Senior Technical Animation Lead at Ubisoft Blue Byte

We are seeking a Senior Technical Animation Lead to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will be tasked with guiding a group of Technical Animators and Artists to produce exceptional animations that reflect our creative vision. Your responsibilities will include the development, optimization, and documentation of animation systems, rigging, and workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage a team of technical specialists
  • Design and execute animation state machines
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to create intricate animation systems
  • Diagnose and address pipeline challenges
  • Improve animation tools and workflows
  • Support Animation teams with complex tasks

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a comparable position
  • Deep understanding of animation principles and game engine integration
  • Experience with character-driven action games is advantageous
