About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Release Manager/Business Coordinator to join our team at AOK Mein Leben. As a key member of our digital operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating the deployment of our digital products and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute coordinated production deployments and operate digital offerings (mobile apps, desktop applications, web-based solutions) for AOK customers, including the Meine-AOK-App and Online-Business Office, across all system environments, considering the CI/CD pipeline and system landscape availability.
  • Act as an expert in release, incident, and IT operations processes and advise the AOK community on specific support cases.
  • Develop release management strategies and plans and oversee the entire release lifecycle, including preparation, execution, and post-release activities.
  • Conduct cutover planning with all necessary IT partners, oversee and coordinate the CI/CD pipeline, and administer App Stores.
  • Monitor, coordinate, and communicate system availability for all service providers for deployment and testing activities.
  • Conduct release reviews, prepare release notes, and coordinate existing incidents and their resolution in accordance with release planning.
Requirements
  • You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field, or have equivalent knowledge and skills through relevant work experience.
  • Ideally, you have experience in managing IT partners and have already gained experience in IT operations.
  • You apply your knowledge of software development and IT system operation as well as your understanding of technical support in your work.
  • You can draw on your knowledge of release and test management and ideally on your experience in the statutory health insurance sector.
  • You are experienced in safely using software products for test and release management (Jenkins, JIRA).
  • You have experience with agile development processes.
  • You bring good communication and cooperation skills to your work with our team; self-reliant, result-oriented work with good self-organization is also a matter of course for you.
