The Role:
In the capacity of Senior Product Design Lead for Task Mining, you will spearhead the design and user experience of products that enable our users to scrutinize task-level data and extract valuable insights for process improvement. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will define a premier design vision for our task mining user experiences. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers and researchers to ensure a seamless and integrated experience. Your role is crucial in interpreting and translating our customers' requirements into effective task mining solutions that enhance efficiency and deliver value.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Product Design Lead, you will take ownership of key user journeys, shaping their vision in partnership with Product and Engineering teams and driving their evolution. Your primary focus will be on developing effective task mining tools and solutions that identify inefficiencies and their implications on the overall process while also addressing the needs of data engineers and business process analysts. Collaborating closely with UX researchers, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence the operational dynamics of your domain.
You will possess a unique blend of problem-solving skills and creative interaction design expertise. Your proficiency in data visualization will enable you to establish industry benchmarks and assist other teams in defining guidelines and setting company-wide standards.
As the Senior Product Design Lead, you will engage in both hands-on product design and oversee the design process. You will mentor and guide other designers, ensuring smooth collaboration from concept to deliverable user interface designs while upholding the design vision and execution.
Furthermore, your ability to collaborate effectively with various Product Managers and transition seamlessly between domains will be vital to your success in this position.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: A solid foundation in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Design, Data Design, Communication Design, or a related discipline. Professional Experience: At least 7 years of demonstrated experience as a UX/UI Designer within a software development team. Leadership: A minimum of 2 years of leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding fellow designers. Domain Experience: Experience in B2B or enterprise software products, particularly for data users such as Data Engineers and analysts. Skills: Strong grasp of data visualization, interaction design, usability engineering, and testing principles. Practical experience in creating complex and interactive data visualizations. Adaptability: Ability to provide clarity in ambiguous situations and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Language & Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skills; proficiency in German is a plus. Capable of presenting ideas and rationale convincingly to stakeholders. Design System: Familiarity with working on and contributing to Design Systems in Figma. User-centricity: Deep empathy for users and a user-centered design philosophy, with a keen eye for enhancing product usability. Strong Portfolio: A compelling portfolio showcasing your design capabilities and problem-solving acumen.Preferred Qualifications:
