About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Director to join our team at Central Parking. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on Key Business Initiatives: Take the lead on key business initiatives from a legal and governance perspective, including GDPR, product security law, and contract management.
  • Company Secretarial Service: Provide a full and efficient company secretarial service, attending board and committee meetings, and ensuring best practice in governance and documentation.
  • Legal Risk Management: Responsible for the company's legal risk management, ensuring compliance with EU and international legal and corporate governance standards.
  • Business Partner: Be a partner to the CEO, supporting key business decisions and negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome for the company.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Work closely with the CEO, C-Suite, and country management on all matters related to compliance and ethics.
  • Legal Advice: Provide expert legal advice and judgment delivered in a commercially appropriate way, either directly or indirectly through external legal advisers.
  • Compliance Function: Demonstrate a track record of leading the compliance function of an international company and successfully advising on ethics and compliance matters at senior levels.
  • Intellectual Property: Accountable for selecting and procuring external legal advisers and prudently managing, controlling, and reducing the cost of legal services.
Requirements
  • Experience: A demonstrated track record as a Legal Director and Company Secretary, with experience in a demanding and results-driven environment, preferably in the PE sector.
  • Skills: Direct, hands-on experience across a broad range of legal, governance, and regulatory/risk issues, with a proven track record of selecting, managing, and interacting with external legal resources cost-effectively.
  • Cultural Awareness: Direct international experience and awareness of the cultural nuances on pan-European markets.
  • Leadership: A proven experience of assessing, enhancing, and developing a legal function and framework to support a dynamic business.
