About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Director to join our team at Central Parking. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's legal strategy and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on Key Business Initiatives: Take the lead on key business initiatives from a legal and governance perspective, including GDPR, product security law, contract management, and risk management.
  • Company Secretarial Services: Provide a full and efficient company secretarial service, attending board and committee meetings, ensuring best practice in governance and documentation, and satisfying relevant standards.
  • Legal Risk Management: Responsible for the company's legal risk management, ensuring compliance with EU and international legal and corporate governance standards and other statutory requirements.
  • Business Partner: Be a partner to the CEO, supporting key business decisions and negotiations to achieve the best possible outcome for the company.
  • Compliance and Ethics: Work closely with the CEO, C-Suite, and country management on all matters related to compliance and ethics, ensuring the delivery of high-caliber legal and corporate governance support.
  • Legal Advice and Judgment: Provide expert legal advice and judgment delivered in a commercially appropriate way, either directly or indirectly through external legal advisers.
  • Compliance Function: Demonstrate a track record of leading the compliance function of an international company and successfully advising on ethics and compliance matters at senior levels.
  • Intellectual Property: Work with the investors on refinancing and exit readiness, and be accountable for selecting and procuring external legal advisers and prudently managing, controlling, and reducing the cost of legal services.
Requirements
  • Proven Track Record: A demonstrated track record as a Legal Director and Company Secretary, with experience in a demanding and results-driven environment, preferably in the PE sector.
  • International Experience: Direct international experience and awareness of the cultural nuances on pan-European markets.
  • Legal Function Development: A proven experience of assessing, enhancing, and developing a legal function and framework to support a dynamic business.
  • External Legal Resources: A proven and strong track record of selecting, managing, and interacting with external legal resources cost-effectively.
