Work alongside your team in the Indirect Tax Services sector, providing guidance to our clients on all matters related to national and international sales tax law, as well as customs, foreign trade, export control, and excise tax law.
Your Responsibilities
If you aim to strategically support the Indirect Tax Services area with your expertise, here’s how you can contribute:
- Advise and assist national and international clients on all aspects of energy and electricity tax law, as well as other excise tax matters.
- Take charge of comprehensive consulting for the implementation of compliance management systems.
- Prepare relief applications and tax declarations.
- Support our clients in legal remedy and litigation processes, including criminal and administrative proceedings (partially in collaboration with KPMG Law).
- As a Lead Consultant (m/f/d) in Customs & Trade - Energy and Electricity Tax, you will have a successfully completed degree as a Diplom-Finanzwirt from the Federal Customs Administration or in economics or law with a focus on European Economic Law, International Law and Business, or Tax Law.
- You possess initial professional experience (at least 1 year) in relevant areas within customs administration, industry, and/or consulting firms.
- Fundamental knowledge of excise tax law, particularly in energy and electricity tax law, is also part of your skill set.
- You are proficient in using standard MS Office applications.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, is essential.
- Your strong team orientation and willingness to travel complete your qualifications.
