We are seeking a highly skilled Economic Analyst to join our team at E Energy Markets GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying and capturing commercial opportunities in various energy commodities, including electricity, gas, renewables, and cross-commodities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute hedging and risk mitigation strategies for positions stemming from origination transactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Risk, Portfolio Strategy, Finance, and Contract/Legal, to structure and assess transactions.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including counterparties and industry associations.
- University degree in economics, econometrics, finance, physics, or engineering.
- Ability to develop pricing tools for market-based valuation of flexible power offtakes, gas storages, cross-border capacities, and other physical energy assets.
- Experience with master trade agreements, such as EFET and ISDA.
- Persistence and self-motivation, with the ability to excel in an unstructured environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
- Flexible working hours
