Exciting Opportunity in Railway Infrastructure Modernization

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our team at Siemens Mobility GmbH in supporting the modernization of railway infrastructure for DB AG.

  • Develop and implement state-of-the-art electronic interlocking systems after comprehensive training and certification.
  • Utilize efficient project planning tools to design both hardware and software components for security systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Design and develop execution plans, including project-specific switching and occupancy plans, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure project requirements are met and exceeded.
  • Contribute innovative ideas for product/component developments and process improvements, driving business growth and efficiency.
  • Continuously develop expertise in digital railway infrastructure, maintaining high quality standards and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Signal and Safety Engineering, Transportation, or Electrical Engineering, with a strong foundation in mathematics and physics.
  • Previous experience in railway environments, preferably with a focus on digital infrastructure, is highly desirable.
  • Thorough knowledge of signaling and safety principles, including industry standards and regulations.
  • Experience with project planning, ACAD drawing, and fluency in German and English, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
