About the Role
At SR2, we're partnering with a pioneering electric vehicle company to drive innovation in battery cell technology. As a Lead Battery Cell Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions to power sustainable electric vehicles and transform the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of battery cell technology, market trends, and supplier landscapes to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and implement comprehensive battery cell roadmaps to drive business growth and competitiveness.
- Manage relationships with suppliers using German and English to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
- Foster collaborations with industry partners to advance battery cell technology and certification, driving innovation and excellence.
- Characterize and validate battery cell performance through rigorous testing and modeling to ensure high-quality products.
- Support the development and optimization of battery management systems and charging strategies to enhance overall vehicle performance.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in electrical engineering, physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Li-ion battery cell technology, with a strong understanding of battery cell design, production, testing, and modeling.
- Proven track record of successful project management and collaboration, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills in German and English, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
