Supply Chain Sourcing Manager

Overview

As a Procurement Strategy Specialist at SRAM, you will oversee the comprehensive sourcing operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the strategic sourcing framework and optimizing our procurement processes by assessing the company's requirements, expenditures, supplier relationships, and exploring new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate sourcing and e-procurement policies for the Mechatronics Division. Assess purchasing strategies concerning supply, outsourcing, and procurement while ensuring they align with corporate objectives.
  • Conduct supply chain risk evaluations and analyses for internal manufacturing. Assist in manufacturing planning while consistently simplifying production complexities.
  • Initiate market research and vendor profiling to support supplier selection based on pricing, market dynamics, and risk assessments.
  • Negotiate agreements with essential suppliers, covering costs, supply terms, service levels, and quality standards. Oversee proposal evaluations, the RFP process, and final vendor selection to achieve budgetary goals.
  • Create a vendor performance scorecard to benchmark effectiveness, perform regular supplier risk evaluations, and foster continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Product Development to manage supplier selection. Establish best practices for negotiation, contracting, onboarding, and renewal processes.
  • Refine policies, assess risks, and implement risk mitigation strategies, ensuring contracts adhere to industry standards while continuously enhancing RFP templates.
  • Cultivate strategic sourcing relationships and foster robust partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Logistics, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of sourcing experience within a manufacturing context.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the micromobility sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of trade compliance, contract negotiation, project management, and strategic logistics planning is essential.
  • Familiarity with mechatronics and mechanical engineering is advantageous.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities.
  • Advanced skills in collaboration and negotiation.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Willingness to travel to nurture, promote, and sustain strategic sourcing partnerships.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
