IT Support Student Intern (m/f/div)

Role Description
The IT department at FLOCERT GmbH seeks a motivated and service-oriented individual eager to thrive in an international setting.
A flexible approach and diverse experience in IT troubleshooting are crucial for this role. The successful candidate will join a small, dynamic international team responsible for the ICT infrastructure supporting all business operations related to Fairtrade certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage helpline tickets and resolve first-level incidents and service requests
- Conduct printer maintenance (e.g., replace printer cartridges)
- Guide users on the effective use of FLOCERT IT systems
- Assist in troubleshooting laptop issues
- Support users with conference equipment
- Communicate with users in person, over the phone, or via online platforms to assist with ICT-related setups or problem resolution
- Aid in preparing workspaces for new staff
- Assist in the installation and configuration of computer hardware, operating systems, and applications
- Provide support to employees relocating within the office
- Coordinate hardware replacements and peripheral device management
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Currently enrolled at a university in any field (proof of enrollment required)
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Basic experience with Microsoft operating systems, both server and desktop
- Additional knowledge of Linux, mobile device management, telephony systems, MS Azure Active Directory, IT user support, and ticketing systems is advantageous
- Familiarity with ITIL processes (problem and incident management) is a plus
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
- Proactive, diligent, and dependable work ethic
- Excellent communication skills, adaptable, and experienced in multicultural environments
