Job Title: Technical Service Consultant

At CosmosDirekt, we are seeking a highly skilled Technical Service Consultant to join our team. As a Technical Service Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and support to our customers in the area of Mainframe services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support customers in their daily Mainframe business and projects
  • Control and manage services delivered by the service provider company
  • Consult and support customers in monitoring, analyzing, and optimizing their Mainframe services together with the service provider
  • Support management related to any Mainframe topics
  • Support risk security, auditing, and certification processes within GOSP related to Mainframe items
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of an IT degree course and long-term work experience
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • High level of engagement
  • Deep understanding of services and customer orientation
  • Solution-oriented and characterized by willingness to cooperate, capacity for teamwork, and conflict ability
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management frameworks (e.g. ITIL)
  • Deep knowledge of Mainframe technology (computing, Storage, Automation, and MW/DB), z/OS, and subsystems
  • Ability to think and act like an entrepreneur
  • Preferably good knowledge of the Generali Mainframe environment
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English
