Vice President of Retail Media Strategy

Overview: In the Revenue and Operations division, our objective is to enhance, market, onboard, and support the innovative solutions developed by our technical teams. This entails a comprehensive focus on a holistic commercial strategy that facilitates the introduction of new offerings and optimizes client engagement with existing solutions.

Position Summary: Reporting to the SVP Global Sales & Partnerships/ DACH, the Vice President of Retail Media serves as a pivotal commercial leader within Adform's global sales and partnerships framework. This role is crucial in ensuring that our corporate strategy aligns with Retail Media as a burgeoning business sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Retail Media sales across Europe, securing new clients to meet financial objectives.
  • Implement a defined Retail Media strategy, pinpointing growth opportunities in key European markets.
  • Collaborate closely with global and regional leadership, as well as in-market sales teams, to capitalize on local and regional prospects.
  • Coordinate with global and local enterprise sales teams on client engagements.
  • Leverage relationships with senior stakeholders within retail organizations to develop sales strategies that achieve projected revenue growth.
  • Act as an ambassador for Adform at a European level, enhancing awareness of our position in the Retail Media landscape.
  • Lead and nurture a streamlined yet experienced sales team.
  • Serve as a resource and role model for team members by sharing best practices, fostering knowledge exchange, and engaging in cross-functional collaboration to advance strategic and revenue goals.
Candidate Profile:
  • Established network among senior stakeholders within European retail sectors, with a solid understanding of the retail landscape and its dynamics.
  • Demonstrated success in driving retail media sales and achieving significant revenue growth through this channel.
  • In-depth knowledge of AdTech, MarTech solutions, and the media industry.
  • Exceptional skills in managing sales pipelines and executing growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication abilities, both with clients and internally.
  • Confident presenter capable of utilizing storytelling to facilitate engaging meetings.
  • Proficient in negotiation and influencing across various levels of seniority.
  • Adept at simplifying complex concepts for non-technical audiences and tailoring communication styles to diverse audiences.
  • Open to providing and receiving constructive feedback.
