Lead Consultant in Software Quality Assurance

Your Role - What Awaits You

Are you keen on advancing your skills in software testing, requirements engineering, and agile software development? Are you also open to regularly learning new methods and technologies?
Then you are in the right place.
As a Lead Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring transparency regarding the quality of mission-critical software in digitalization projects, acting as the bridge between users in the business departments and the development team.

In detail, you will take on the following responsibilities:

  • Assuming the role of Test Manager in client projects and providing technical leadership to a team of testers.
  • Establishing and enhancing testing processes and methodologies.
  • Deriving the need for resources for testing, justifying it to various stakeholders, and estimating the effort required for testing activities.
  • Reporting on testing progress and the quality status of the software in a target group-oriented manner while supporting operational testing.
  • Advising various stakeholders on questions and decisions regarding software quality and testing measures.
  • Supporting project risk management.

Your Skills - What You Bring

  • A completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field of study.
  • At least five years of practical experience in software testing, with a minimum of two years in test management within IT projects.
  • Comprehensive practical expertise in methods and approaches in software testing.
  • Assertiveness and significant practical experience in the technical leadership of teams.
  • Fluent German language skills (at least C1 level) and good English language skills (at least B2 level).
  • Willingness to travel for project-related purposes within the country.
