We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee operations in Mannheim within our Offshore Wind division, part of our Global Center of Competence. This role requires close collaboration with Offshore Wind developers, T&D Utility clients, EPC Contractors, and local Hitachi Energy teams worldwide.

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee major national and international offshore projects
- Lead a multidisciplinary project team, ensuring effective task distribution aligned with project-specific requirements and policies
- Assess customer requirements, clarify technical and commercial aspects of the order in collaboration with the customer and project team, and define project structure, organization, scope, and timeline
- Conduct contract reviews and technical order clarifications with support from Sales and Engineering, ensuring close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders as the primary point of contact
- Monitor and manage project progress utilizing Hitachi Energy's Policies, Best Practices, and Lessons Learned to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion while maintaining high-quality standards
- Organize and oversee engineering, assembly, and commissioning processes to achieve project objectives
- Plan factory testing and commissioning, as well as acceptance and handover of systems at customer sites
- Manage project financing, including invoicing, costs, cash flows, and other key performance indicators
- Implement risk management and claim management strategies for order and process-related disruptions
- Facilitate efficient personnel deployment planning
- Ensure all projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental guidelines
- Initiate sustainable process improvements
- Enhance customer satisfaction
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Industrial Engineering, coupled with several years of relevant experience in project management or execution, particularly in international projects within the substation sector
- Familiarity with offshore sector quality and safety requirements
- Certification as a Senior Project Manager / PMP is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, structured work approach, and ability to collaborate effectively in a team
- Intercultural competence and a consistent drive to achieve set goals with assertiveness
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, with proficiency in German preferred
- Willingness to travel internationally for customer and construction site visits
