Procurement Manager for Telefónica Network

As a key player in this transformation, our Procurement Organization, Telefónica Global Services GmbH (TGS), is responsible for all worldwide procurement activities. Located in Ismaning, close to Munich, our local team collaborates closely with the global Procurement team for Europe and Latin America.
As a Procurement Manager for Telefónica Network, you will lead purchasing, price, and contract negotiations independently for the Telefónica network area. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing sourcing strategies in close collaboration with the technical department and global buyers.
- Creating concepts, decision templates, and presentations for management.
- Working closely with technical, financial, and legal departments.
- Managing suppliers and stakeholders for your categories.
- Creating tenders with the global purchasing platform (GEP SMART) and monitoring in-life contract management (SAP).
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in business, engineering, or a related field, with experience in procurement desirable but not mandatory.
- A structured, solution-oriented approach to work.
- Strong technical knowledge and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English and German, with Spanish an advantage.
- Medium to advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
