Your Responsibilities:- Analyze and forecast market trends, identifying opportunities and risks for Uniper's energy trading activities.
- Develop and maintain complex models to forecast power prices, taking into account various market and regulatory factors.
- Conduct ad-hoc market analyses, providing insights and recommendations to support commercial success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and optimize trading strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to inform business decisions.
- Excellent education in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Relevant experience in energy market analysis, fundamental power market modeling, and energy trading.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in data handling, PowerBI, and programming languages like Python, R, or VBA.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international and diverse environment.
- Fluent English language skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
