About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst/Applied Scientist to join our Brand Marketing team at GetYourGuide. As a key member of our analytics team, you will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining best practices for data-driven decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quantitative analysis and statistical models to evaluate and steer marketing decisions
  • Explore large datasets, identify opportunities and issues, and present findings to stakeholders
  • Design and implement metrics, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision making
  • Serve as a liaison between the marketing teams and the data engineering team
  • Mentor others in the skills needed for this role
Requirements
  • 5+ years of relevant experience interpreting data in an analytics, data science or business intelligence role
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for analysis
  • Strong experience in development and implementation of statistical & ML models and techniques
  • In-depth understanding of marketing mix modeling, ideally with hands-on experience developing and deploying such or similar models
  • Experience with data visualization and reporting tools
  • Ability to understand user behavior and meaning behind the numbers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
