Connected Services Technical Engineer

Your Role:
As a Technical Application Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the rollout of Connected Services solutions in the marketplace. Your expertise in our service offerings will be crucial in enhancing operational efficiencies and delivering value to our clients. You will act as a vital link among our sales teams, technical experts, and customers, providing essential technical guidance and support throughout the sales cycle and solution implementation. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional communication abilities, technical proficiency, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Additionally, you will collaborate with regional sales and customer experience teams to gather insights from customer interactions regarding connected services and relay this information to the customer experience team for analysis and synthesis.
The perfect candidate for this position will possess robust technical skills, superior communication and presentation capabilities, strong teamwork skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Serve as the primary contact for customer onboarding, lead the customer service and support process, and effectively manage issue resolution to ensure seamless business operations. Technical Implementation: Oversee the execution of technical pilots, development initiatives, and production installations with clients, as well as provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting assistance, resolving issues promptly and efficiently. Technical Knowledge: Act as a key technical resource for the sales team, possessing comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, and industry trends, and effectively communicate generated data to create value for the customer. Training: Facilitate product training sessions for clients and internal teams, ensuring a thorough understanding of product features and advantages. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with customers in the field, collecting their voice of the customer insights and providing this information to the customer experience team for aggregation and analysis. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with diverse teams, including product development, engineering, and marketing, to align technical solutions with customer requirements and business goals. Sales Strategy Development: Contribute to the formulation of sales strategies and initiatives, utilizing technical insights to foster revenue growth and market expansion.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred. Demonstrated experience in technical sales or engineering roles, with a proven record of achieving or surpassing sales objectives. Strong technical aptitude and the ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and solutions. Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the capability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Customer-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service and cultivating long-term relationships. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing circumstances. Previous experience with fleets, fleet management systems, or similar technical roles is preferred. Proficiency in German and English. Willingness to travel up to 30% of working time.Our Offerings:
