Your primary focus will be on interacting with key fund managers and selectors within the wealth management sector, which includes retail banks, private banks, asset managers, pension funds, and family offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Your role will center around fostering and reinforcing Citywire's connections with essential fund selectors, portfolio managers, wealth managers, and other investors. As a member of the Audience Development department, recognized as the backbone of market intelligence for our organization, you will frequently engage with our target audience through various channels, including print, online platforms, and numerous prestigious events.
Our diverse team contributes to multiple aspects of the company, including editorial content (both broadcast and written), research initiatives driven by firsthand intelligence, and delegate recruitment for both national and international events. Furthermore, the team oversees our internal database of registered users.
-Relationship Building: Connect with clients and investment professionals, gather insights and trends, and maintain regular communication through phone, email, video calls, and in-person meetings.
-Event Coordination: Collaborate with our events team to align delegates and investors with suitable events. Attend events to network with clients, conduct interviews, and assist with various tasks.
-Content Development: Work with clients to brainstorm feature ideas, occasionally draft features, and interview key financial experts both on and off camera.
-Research Initiatives: Leverage insights from client interactions to identify potential research projects and areas of interest.
-Product Promotion: Advocate for Citywire's offerings, including events, publications, advertising, and research, to our clients.
-Knowledge Enhancement: Broaden your understanding of your publication title through client interactions, staying informed about industry developments, and collaborating with other business areas.
Desired Qualifications:
-A Bachelor's or Master's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
-Fluency in English, French, and German, both spoken and written.
-A proven self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
-Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences.
-Flexibility and enthusiasm for extensive travel across Europe.
-Ability to thrive under pressure and excel in meeting deadlines.
-Ideal for a creative individual who enjoys meeting new people and collaborating within a team.
-Prior knowledge of financial markets and the financial community is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn about the financial industry, investment funds, and financial markets is essential.
