Your Role - What You can expect as Global IT Procurement Category Leader (f/m/d)?
- Develop and implement global IT procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives, identifying cost-saving opportunities and fostering innovation within the IT procurement category.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key IT suppliers, manage their performance, conduct evaluations, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms. Define preferred suppliers for recurring needs and develop strategic supplier roadmaps.
- Analyze market trends, benchmark pricing, and negotiate competitive agreements to optimize IT procurement while ensuring quality and reliability.
- Identify new sourcing opportunities, conduct market research, and assess potential suppliers to diversify the supply chain and enhance competitiveness.
- Draft, review, and manage IT procurement contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with IT departments and stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives and IT requirements.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, ensuring business continuity and compliance with regulations.
Your Profile - What do You bring as Global IT Procurement Category Leader (f/m/d)?
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Over 3 years of experience in IT procurement or category management on a global scale.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of IT products, services, and market trends, along with familiarity with procurement software and tools.
